JQL setup

Enter a query

In the gadget editor, select JQL under Issue source and enter your query in JQL query.

The starter queries are Updated recently, Assigned to me and Reported by me.

Updated recently uses updated >= -7d ORDER BY updated DESC.

A starter button writes editable text into the JQL query field.

Set the order

Choose Sort by and Direction, then select Apply sort to JQL.

Sorting is set by the author through an ORDER BY clause, not by clicking table headers.

Save and correct errors

Select Save ColumnFit for Jira configuration to keep the query.

If the query is invalid, the dashboard author needs to correct it.

The viewer surface shows fixed error text; the editor can show up to two lines of Jira error detail.
